Got it for the free news, and with sun+ theyve destroyed it. Gone!!

My husband purchases your paper 7 days a week at a store. Home delivery hasnt been available for a decade for us. I liked to read news in am on this app because I have to wait until evening to see the paper. I never liked the Calgary herald... Am deleting this app and reading the free herald app!

This app, once a staple for some small entertainment on the train or at lunch has finally hit my breaking point. I am willing to pay for a news service of some decent content such as the Globe, but for a rag like the Sun, it is just unacceptable, especially considering the amount of advertising on the pages. Combine this with the fact that the program crashes all of the time, and you have a recipe for uselessness. Goodbye Sun app!

The sun app: -Lacks content; had very few articles -Frequently links to video articles, which are useless in this app -Lacks quality editing/appropriate vicabulary in articles (frequent spelling/grammar mistakes or just selection of the wrong word) -Does not have a back button I was hesitant to upgrade because Sun+ online also charges, and reading the reviews I discovered so does the app. However, I saw multiple posts suggesting the metro app so I downloaded that instead of upgrading. Im thoroughly impressed with the Metro app, and suggest that instead; it has more content, better content, and is also a technically superior app (including back buttons and videos). Im deleting the Suns app.

Seriously. Crashes all the time. Does not update. Articles dont open properly. Instructions and sharing options (when they initially start up) are in french. This is the CALGARY sun and although we realize your paper is a sellout owned by a Quebec company, I dont appreciate having it rammed down my throat. Pictures dont open. Will not allow social media sharing (errors, incorrect article links) And now your charging for it? Go Calgary Herald app. Calgary Sun+ =deleted

There are TWENTY stories. Thats all! About four or five get changed daily. Constant pop-up ads and requests for online subscriptions. Takes a long time to load; longer to change stories; impossible to see photo galleries without Flash; links dont work; online surveys dont allow you to vote.... Pitiful app!

Old format was bad. This one is worse.

Limited stories, not worth the trouble to download.

Since the update this app wont load at all. Piece of junk. Unless you are a paying subscriber you cant even look at any other section other than the front page. Lame.

I cant open my sun App. Could you please fix it or tell me how to fix it? I am a Sunday Sun scriber. It seem to stop working after I down loaded a paper for off line reading.

I downloaded this app. It worked for the first two days they stopped. It will not load. Not a good app!

No access; worse than the actual paper! Deleting this app.

While this app has always been buggy with half missing articles, broken links, polls that would not work, etc... This app was good enough to put out a decent amount of articles to be worth downloading. Now, they are forcing Sun+ on anyone who downloads this app by making almost half the articles you used to be able to read a must purchase. Without all the bugs this app could potentially be worth buying the Sun+ but until then do not waste your time

I have deleted this news app yet again. Always hopeful they would finally make it useable. Sorry Sun, so poorly designed.

Really funny they want to charge for this App dont waste your money. Ive deleted it

At least it allows you to select and copy text from articles. Problems: Its in French. All the buttons and commands. Tiny little box to type in when you wish to share an article on Facebook/twitter - and the box has no cursor, nor ability to select text to edit typos, insert or change comments, etc. Did I mention the Calgary Sun app is in French? FAIL

Horrible app and very biased.
